Carlton White – Our Founder’s Story

After an 18 year career owning and operating a small business and a 26 year career as a financial advisor (essentially another small business), Carlton White is well versed on what it takes to be successful in the small business world.  

​At the conclusion of his second career, he is not ready to hang up his spurs.

​He has a distinct desire to

– help people that want to cash in on their hard work.

– assist aspiring entrepreneurs looking for the opportunity to own their own business.

– consult with ongoing firms to offer help and advice to prepare them for the possibility of one day being sold. 

– consult with firms that need help with sales and marketing.

​Carlton White is a long term resident of Durham, NC where he lives with his wife of 45 years.  Susan and Carlton have two grown children and six grandchildren.  Carlton has been active in the Durham community for almost half a century with stints as President of the Durham Jaycees, Tobaccoland Kiwanis Club, Croasdaile Country Club, and the Durham Merchant’s Association Charitable Foundation.  He has served on numerous charity boards and organizations such as the American Heart Association and the Eno River Association.  Susan is a recently retired minister with the United Methodist Church.
